I joined a couple days ago & then called back to apply for a gorewards card. Card is being recon, not sure I have the patience to find out what the problem is.

Any insight appreciated.

My TU is 684 Eq 684 No recent baddies. 

BK 9 yrs old and 2 student loan 30 day late from 2 1/2 years ago.

DTI less than 1 %.

At my job 10 years salary 71k.

Two car loans total $585.

Rent $475.

New Barclays Apple card, no balance on it. CL is $2500.

Five store cards, 2 yrs old with no lates.

Less than 5/24

FYI  For joining and for credit card I had a TU pull.

Unfortunately you gotta wait it out and find that elusive patience, easier said than done I know. Your profile looks perfectly good for an approval, but Navy has been strange in their approvals and denials lately so who knows for sure. What was their original denial reason?

Was told today for membership is only the TU pull but the rest is eq as I took 2 hits today denials but I'm done for about 3 years so that's ok

The person I spoke to whenapplying by phone said there wasnt a reason and that it isnt always a denial. Then she mentioned that I am a brand new customer. Said I should hear by Tuesaday if not I should call back.

I got alerts from TU for the 2 pulls but have not recieved alerts for any other CRA. But maybe there is a delay of some sort from Eq?

I applied online an hour after I became a member, no checking account and $0 in savings, and I was approved instantly. Then again we are talking about NFCU.

Wow! Congrats. That's a huge CL for a recon. Maybe I need to think this NFCU thing over again. Really don't want the 2 hard pulls so was going to wait a year when 3/4 of my INQ fall off.
