Just applied for a CLI for my cash rewards CC. I was denied all together.
Waiting for the letter in the mail.
Did Navy change their CLI from 91/3 to 6 months?
@Anonymous
When date did you open your account, did 3 statements cut?
What was your SL? What'does your profile look like? What is your navy score?
I got approved April 2020. 3rd statement was cut June 24.
My score according to navy when I was approved in april was I believe 330/450.
Started with 12k. I was tempted to apply for a 2nd card later this week, but not feeling too good on it now.

April which day? And I meant your score provided by navy on your online account? And what is your TU FICO score?

Check your first statement. Make sure you have 3 full (25-30 days) statements. Based on the open date a statement could have cut early.
That makes sense. I got approved on April 13th and statement cut on April 24th.
@Anonymous Looks like you applied to soon you should wait til after the 24th for the CLI part you need 3 FULL statements the first one was likely not a real/full statement.

Sounds like you might not have 3 full statements yet.
The same thing happened to me, I guess. I also received my cashRewards CC in April. I was borderline to begin with, with a low $500 SL. I was never going to try for a CLI in three months, because they would see the BB&T CC I got the following month. So, to me, it would be a decline anyway. But my third statement hit, and it's like they have that CLI button right there enticing you when you click onto your account. Yep, I ignored common sense and asked for a CLI. I didn't get declined, but I got the dreaded "under review" message or "pending review," or something similar. That was yesterday afternoon. I've never heard back. A CLI hasn't shown up in my account. Then it hit me, after reading more on here, that I needed to be at 90 or 91 days also. I went back and looked, and I was approved on April 16. So I was under 91 days. Although, even if I had asked for a CLI after 91 days, I don't believe I would have been given one. I'll wait until my BB&T CC turns six months old to ask for a CLI. on the cashRewards card. I will have a better chance then.
Good luck next time around !
