Navy Federal CLI

I got approved for a Platinum Credit card about 90 days ago. The credit limit is only 500 but I have used the card without carrying a balance. Would this be a good time to ask for an increase? Ive also went ahead and paid off one card with Capital One which is 3300 CL & half way through my discover with a 1000 CL. I do have a capital one savor that still needs some work but is NF strict? When it comes to CLI

Re: Navy Federal CLI

You can request at 91 days... be sure to do it online for a SP... they can be generous with little use... they'll either approve, counter offer, or deny... best of luck!

the max they'll give you is $1500, so you could request right at 91 days or wait for your credit score to update next month on your NFCU profile to reflect your payments if your credit score is extremely low

do you have any negative information or is it only balances lowering your credit score right now?

this matters because in 180 days after this CLI, how ever much you get determines your next CLI

if they give you $1500, you get to go up to $4500, if they only give you $1000, you only go up to $3000 next time, so it's important
