Sorry for the denial. I don't know what their issue is with CLOCs lately. I think $500 is very stingy. I did use it for the first time though and since I paid it off the same day, I didn't actually get charged interest which is nice because I don't like to leave money in my secondary accounts when the money could be earning me money somewhere else.
@Anonymous, I had to thought about what score they will give us?
Sure would be nice to get TU FICO9 .. (it is the only score, I do not get)
That may only be a good wish though
Sure hope it aint VS3 ...
I just bring it up because they set up that new credit dashboard for VS3.

I sure hope not though.

They currently give fico 9 though mine is EQ not TU, they also pull fico 9 for apps. What makes you believe they are going to switch to VS3?

Because they added this dashboard which is provided by TransUnion and gives VS3 scores.

My transunion used to be my highest until experian came out with that boost option. That actually raised my score 30 to 40 points higher than trans and eq.
I'm actually going to close a few junk accounts. I have a credit one that needs to go. I also have an everyday amex that has been stuck at $3k for a year. I've asked for increases but always get denied. Only cards I plan on keeping is my nfcu amex, my disco, target and kohl's. The rest are doing me no good.

Just keep in mind, most lenders algorithms have a way to discount "Boost" in scoring. As they do AU accts.
Thnx for the FYI. I didn't know that.
Why do all these banks and lenders give free VS scores if they don't use them is my question. They are basically useless as far as I can tell. (Not completely hating on them, I used credit karma long before I found Myfico). I'm just not aware of any lenders using VS3 or 4 in credit decisions, I don't claim to be a know all be all on the subject either.
