It doesn't reset the 181 day clock. You can apply again for the CLI whenever you're ready. I would wait a couple of months, 3 months if you really want to play it safe, but of course do what's best for you.

If you get approved for something, it is on the letter... Otherwise, it is one of the great mysteries in life.
Strange, I have never seen that on my approvals. But I am green with nfcu just in their building relationship stage so they may have not provided me one. I have only been a member 3 months.
Actually, it's the other way around.
If you get denied for credit, it's on the letter.
Otherwise, including for those applying and approved, it's one of the great mysteries of life.
Denied OR if you don't get the lowest APR they'll usually send it. I got mine for my CLOC.

does anyone know when you can apply for the 3rd card? I'm going for flagship next time.
for more DP my income is 36,000 roughly.
I have a discover secured card for $200 that I just closed it hasnt graduated in two years and navy has given me now $25,000 in credit so I rather have my $200 back.same with a citi secured card just closed it for $200, same issue hasn't graduated.
$16,000 student loans and two collections
also chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2016.
Its my honest opinion that you should keep those secured cards. Its never a good idea to have all your eggs in one creditor's basket. At the very least, try to get unsecured credit elsewhere first.

Nope, no clock reset. Wait for 183 days though. Its pretty much never 181 days, 183 minimum. They are likely going by half of a year in days which would be 182.5 = 183 rounded up.

Thank you. I have a spreadsheet that is set to 184 to be safe. I was just approved for a card Saturday and had the limit recon'd today. I suspect I will get the max unsecured but I suppose I will test my luck. If it isn't approve, I'll wait a month. Thanks again!

Very nice, congratulations!

I just did it... I think. I got the "were working on getting the website..." after hitting done. I think that has happened before and the CLI request was actually sent. We will see in a day or two, or three.

@Anonymous by the way! Congrats on your approval. Obviously, you're doing something right!

I didn't think of this. Thanks, I've already closed them earlier. I do plan to apply for another card I've had my eye on soon. When I get my last two collections paid.
