@Anonymous, We allow you (1) off topic per year ...JK
Congratulations on your APR reduction, sure feels good does'nt it?
I felt good getting my MoreRewards down to the lowest they offer on that CC 9.65%
My platinum, will be one year old in December of this year. So a few more months on that one.
Then I can work on The Flagship in March of next year.
This is the only CC interest I have paid this year
Interest Paid YTD $0.87
and I was more than happy to give it to Navy
@EverForward wrote:Good Morning,
Last night, I noticed my NFCU nRewards CL increased from $300 to $2,000, but the available limit was still $300. This morning it's now reflected as a CashRewards CC with the full available limit of $2,000. Yeah!! 😀
It's been roughly 6 months since I opened it on 2/18/2020. I use the card actively along with my checking and savings accounts. My utilization at statement cut always less than 3% and PIF.
Now the $6m dollar question, do I ask for a CLI, app for a 2nd card, or simply let it resonate for awhile? I'm leaning towards the later.
I already consider myself very fortunate to be this far along. I just started my rebuild January of this year, after filing Ch7 12/2018, and have 4 CC already with total CL of $5,500. Next year, I'll pursue an SSL to replace my Self loan.
Congratulations on your graduation and CLI!
@EverForward Congrats on the graduation!!!! I say it can't hurt to ask for that CLI, worst they can do is say no, and you wait the 6mos anyways!
Maybe I should have held off on my Amex app, because my nRewards is still secured! Now I'm wondering if applying for a CLI on the more rewards at 91/3 next month might affect my graduation as well. Interesting DP since my scores have gone up over 40 pts in Navy's Fico.
I will still apply for that CLI on the Amex next month because I am not in a rush for my nRewards to graduate.

Congratulation on your APR reduction. When is that 2nd Navy card coming?
I don't know. Debating being happy with what I have. 😉
Follow up on DH app.
No word in a week, so we called. Rep escalated it immediately to the cc department who reviewed our tax returns and then denied him because income didn't match. A little frustrated, 5k difference in 2019, but accurate in 2018, but my fault ultimately and DH doesn't care about inquiries. Reapped immediately with a lower income and was approved within 24 hours, 12.3k/5.99. This is our last BT paying down 30k in debt from when he started his business. Around 6k to go, easy peasy.
