So your CLI is an soft pull we figured out for CLI they using the fico 9 equifax that monthly score they provide for us.. so you should be good with that...
for new credit card just use the prequel and go for it.. i'm thinking you will be approved but don't think you getting the high limit..
Good luck.
@Anonymous wrote:So my question is ..
I am coming up on my 91/3..
I have a platinum card with Nfcu of cl..3k 5.99 and a $3150 loan $248 bal.
I have 1 CO (paid) won't fall off Tu Until 9/23. How bad will that effect my chances for desent 2nd card or Cli on my first??
From my experience last week, probably not much at all. I have one 30-day late, and one $50 paid medical collection, both between 2 and 3 years, on my reports. I was approved for a MR (30K at 9.65%) and a COVID 4K raise on my CR -- the same day.
Go ahead and go for it. The worse they can say is "no".
Hit 91/3 on my $3600 More Rewards Amex about a week or so ago. Requested CLI on the Website asked for a CL of $25,000 and was given the 24hr notice, then to a page that was broken. Did the same to my DW last month which made me wonder if they got the request but they did so wasn't to worried about it. This morning found my available credit increased and new credit Limit $5100 so they gave me $1500! No Covid 4K for me. I will take it, now my highest limit card by $100. Thank you NFCU!
Not interested in the Current Flagship SUB and am trying to limit my HP's so didn't apply for a new card this time.
Some DP's
Cash Rewards card was at about 99% (but pay down to $0 every month)
More Rewards was at 78% when I requested (Last statement balance was at 24%).
For some reason i really believe having $0 balance when requesting an CLI Means something... i'm on my 3rd CLI and it's been 3 Covid-4Ks back2back after getting the dreaded 24 hours review message.
BTW I did all my request late at night..
Amex more rewards $33,700
Cash rewards $49,000
Reallocated to leave room for another card after i purchase my home.
my fico on nfcu is showing 656 i have like 80% utilization on the cash rewards and the platinum...
been 6 statements since i got approved for the platinum and got a balance increase on the cash rewards the same day...wondering if i should just request a balance increase on both?
if they are just soft pulls i guess it wouldnt hurt right?
the utilization just deters me but what does everyone think?
Yes do both it's soft pull just do it.. guy posted earlier had high utilization and was approved for $1500 cli on his card.
go for it.. you will get the 24 hour review don't worry just check back it should be there.
ok did both and it just went to 24 hr review...will post the results wish me luck!
Good Luck!! mines took 18 hours.

Mine took about 18 hours too this past weekend. Requested Saturday night and Sunday afternoon the increase was available.
Tricky504 I noticed that both your limits were over $25k and you said you've been getting the covid 4k I know there used to be something about clis after $25k required poi or a hp I don't recall were either of those the case for you? My more rewards card started at $25k so I'll be eligible for cli in June and wasn't sure if that still applied or not
So i relocated limits.. i applied for a flagship and was approved for 25k i closed it immediately and moved the 25 around.. never ever showed POI.. never had a HP for cli. i've don't closed a Flagship and a cash rewards moved the credit line to other cards.. had 2 cash rewards at some point.
