Hey all! In August I acquired a Navy nRewards secured card. February 17th marked my 7th full statement. In this time I've raised my score quite a bit (+40-80 points depending on the agency), as well as get approved for their More Rewards AMEX with a limit of $25k in December 2020.
My nRewards card still hasn't graduated, should I reach out to see if they would consider graduation or is this a typical timeline for them?
Thank you!

I would personally wait, let it naturally happen, but you certainly can message them. I think more history with both accounts would unsecure it shortly.
If you already got a $25k MoreRewards Amex, you should consider yourself lucky. I only got $1k on mine.
It'll graduate in due time. It will probably happen soon.
I would probably wait a little longer and see what happens. You got that big ole 25K monster recently lol It'll happen soon.

Ask. From what I read at their website, I read, I cared and wanted to know in advance of applying for anything after having done two other Secured Cards which apparently don't graduate, NFCU website cites 3 months for initial review for release the secured funds, if I'm understanding your question correctly, I hope.
And then the next review is at 6 months. Ask. Yes, with Covid somethings are tightening. Still, it's been the timeframe cited at their website. Inquire. Maybe those who replied know NFCU better than I and know that they do all their reviews automatically. But in case it's not an automated review... ask.
Has it graduated yet @Anonymous? I am in the same position, 13 months now with the secured card, and I've had the cash rewards with a 10K limit for a month now. Just crazy to me that it won't insecure. I am holding it in secured status to see how long they take, while pushing out higher limit cards.
