For the CC they're a TU.... don't remember who on the membership/checking side. Easy to work with and pretty stable if you SD them. I think they started me off around 5-10K when I opened the CC and then with a HP bumped to 17K a few years back. They rolled out a better rewards program awhile back and then also added the Signature lines a couple of years ago. There's a few threads around here with more recent performance but, they're just a good bunch to work with and give better APY's on checking then some of the other suggestions when you bundle in the CC you can go up to 4.59% APY on checking.
ETA: even though it's in my signaute it's probably better to post it to just click on it... www.depositaccounts.com go under checking / reward checking
They will show you some of the highest yielding CU accounts out there depending on location, cash balance, etc. I focus more on the APY of a checking account and the CC is more of an after though when it comes to things. Another good one for open enrollment that's not mentioned around here often is JFCU as they're easy to work with as well for the CC side of it. Same story started at 10K with them and then with a HP later on bumped to 29K. https://jfcu.org/CreditCardRates
When I was on my CU CC kick I was applying for the cards before membership since it didn't make sense to apply for membership and toss $5-$20 at a CU and not get results. I can't remember if they were sensitive or not but, probably had 5-10 inq's on reports at the time as I was pushing the limits to get some good CU cards with good rates. It was a time when I could get a 10-15K approval on CU side and denied on the big banks for just about everything. I still keep 4 CU accounts due to the aging at this point and they're all 17K for 3 of them and 29K for the JFCU one.
Do some more research on them if the checking APY is appealing enough to make the switch.

(((FYI - if you want to use the same CR from TU you need to call or stop in a branch. The online verification is done through EQ and the phone apps are TU)))

Doesn't look like I am eligible to the second one. Even if you refer me as it says you can it states I must meet eligibility on my own
Oh young grasshopper!
LEA groups has National Sheriffs' Association aka... join for $15 and you're in like Flynn

When stalking CU's you have to get creative sometimes and look for keywords to circumvent the process sometimes. There's always an in when you look hard enough. Some are simple like the ACC where you can join using "consumer" for free. Opens the door to 30+ CU's with an easy membership. Some others are a little more creative with ways to join right on their website with a link or even in process of joining through the membership form.
