Need One More CC

For the past two months I've been paying off debts and this weekend i was approved for a secured capital one card. Which is good news but I need another credit card. I applied for Discover secured and was quickly denied. Open SKy is an option but i wanted to get one with a company that i can grow with. My scored is pretty low.

Any suggestions/advice will be greatly appreciated!

I don't think you quite "need" another credit card, you're going to harm scores by applying and getting denials. Just keep the Capital One secured for 6 months and see where your scores are at, 650+ see what you pre qualify for in their website..

Or wait a year and keep your util below 20% and you'll easily get approved for various prime cards with decent SL's.

BoA secured.  You can keep both and let them age together.

There is no reason to burn hard pulls on applications that are not a sure thing right now.  Take the new secured card, use it and keep the ulitzation low and let your scores grow for a few months.  If you have baddies do what you can to get rid of them.  In 4-6 months you will probably be in a much better position.
