Navy recently give me a card with 20k cl , I also check pre approved with Discover for my 2nd card and I have few good card offer with 0 % for 14 months ( my 1st card with discover is 4 yrs old with 8300 cl ) .
So my question is should I wait until the Navy update to credit bureaus with high credit line and apply for Discover so hopefully Discover will give me high credit line too , or it doesn’t matter and pull the trigger now with Discover ? My plan is take advantage of 0 % interest for balance transfer , I need some cash and use Discover check to deposit it to my checking account to pay off high interest personal loan ! Please give me some advice and tell me what you guys think ? Sorry for my broken English, love you all !
We need your stats to adequately answer your question only because NFCU is known for giving out big CLs even if one's credit profile is a little spotty. Other lenders may not want the black marks that NFCU is willing to accept.
