Need some advice

Hey Everyone,

I need some advice, I am a fairly new member and have been working on fixing and rebuilding my credit. I have several negative after the 2007 downfall and my employer at the time went of of business, I recieved 2 judgement and several collections on my bureaus. Since then my TU is clean with a 728 Fico, My Equifax is 640 with 2 satisifed judgements 2008 and 2009 respectfully and 1 paid and closed collection and my Experian is 645 Fico with 1 closed collection on it. I had a Fingerhut CL 400 with 0 balance opened on 2-2014 (I closed it this week, never used it), Gettington 300CL 0 balance, Amazon CC 600 CL 0 balance Opened 2-1-2015, USAA Secured 300CL 142 balance opened Jan 2015, Barclays 500CL opened 2-28-15 and Wal-mart MC with 2200CL 2-27-15. I was authorized user on her Kohls 1000CL (over limit, removed my self but the line shows it is not reporting anymore since Nov but its still there, Walmart CC 900CL 774 used,

I applied for AMEX, Chase Slate (Denied for inquires and 2 failed recons) and Freedom, Citi Simpliticity (denied for inquires and failed recons), Capital told me to wait 30 days and call back to reapply (I have 8 apps due to a glitch on their side), BoA (denied for inquires, can't find a working recon number), and discover.

I do have a bunch of Inquires recently 9 EX 6 EQ 2TU in the last 6 months.

What should I do?

Re: Need some advice

If I were you I would only apply for bank credit cards which only pull up TU, Discover It usually pulls only TU. nice score btw on the TU. however judgments stay up to ten years on your credit so you said what 2007. it is now 2015 so 2 more years and bam. or you can dispute the negative items on your credit report and cross your fingeres that it gets deleted. ever thought of trying a credit repair agency. i used to have SKY BLUE they are amazing i had gotten a few things deleted out of my credit report thanks to them. they have a 90 day money back gurantee. they are rated #1 they have great tips awsome customer service very professional. there service is $59.99 a month no extra just $59.99 flat.

Re: Need some advice

Sorry, I forgot to mention that, I been using Lexington Law since October have low 500's and they have removed 24 baddies from my file. They are working to get the last 4 removed.

Re: Need some advice

You might try a Barclays Rewards card. They pretty much exclusively pull TU.

Discover pulled Equifax on me.

I currently have a recently opened card (reconned) with them with a 500 dollar limt. It is the NFL card. I have heard they don't like multiple accounts open, especially considering I have to recon to get the one I have. Any other cards I should try or would should I garden?

Barclays does have a rep for wanting some age on a card before issuing another. That's the only thing keeping my finger off the Sallie Mae trigger right now; just got my NFL card in January. I do think that, yes, some gardening is in order. Maybe give it a solid six months or so.

Re: Need some advice

Nice I was going to also mention Lexington law how many emails I get from them "contact us we can fix your credit". They are very good. they are also in the top I would trust them. Only thing is they are a bit expensive but worth took my chances with sky blue love it. Yea the barckley card pulls TU . Discover it I just feel like they actually dig deep into credit report application to deny serious applicants

Sounds like a good plan, I will garden for the next 6 months and try reapplying with the ones that denied for too many inquires and see if any fall out.

Update: Need some advice

I got the collection off my Experian and it is a solid 701 atm. I think what is killing me now is inquires, AAoA and the new accounts I have. Given this information, I think I may need a solid year in the garden before I can target AMEX, Citi and Discover. Also I might have a mortgage in July or August as I am looking to buy my first house, which I believe will help my score quite a bit. I have updated my scores and account in my siggy Smiley Happy I have LOTS of inquires on EX and EQ, AAoA 2 years, Oldeset account 8 years, 2 AU cards (Kohl's 101% Util (dropped AU) and Walmart Store Card with 60% Util), 93k Income.

Any ideas or suggestions?
