There is no great benefit to CSP if you don't travel. Without travel you're paying 95 bucks for a 2 percent sometimes card.
Buuuut if you DO, then it becomes more like 3+ sometimes.
It's definitely good if you travel. However, one of the posters said something to the effect of it still having great benefit outside of travel -- that I don't see, unless I too am missing something. CSP is expensive to keep if you aren't travelling or maximizing the benefits IMO. It's a travel oriented card, not a cash back card. You can certainly use it for cash back, but why pay $95 for 2% sometimes when you can have a no AF Double Cash or Quicksilver? If travel isn't a concern, those are far better options.
It seems to me it's not even that great of an occasional travel card if you intend on paying for your stuff rather than transfer to partners. If you do the math on the $95 fee and how much you'd have to spend to make up the difference compared to another card it suddenly seems like not so great of a deal. Unless, like I said, you're taking advantage of the UR points.
It's metal though, and maybe that's worth it alone to the folks who pass up a 5% restaurant category bonus for the chance to make some clanking on a waiter's tray.

CSP doesn't really clang.
Not like RC does.

I am looking to make a large purchase of 10k.
Zero percent intro apr will be nice looking for no annual fee.
Barclays Sallie Mae MC. 5% on gas and groceries (up to $250/month each), 5% on bookstores including Amazon (up to $750/month).
I'm not sure about making a $10k initial purchase, but it's good for the everyday things.
