New Amex restarts CLI clock? Biz CL affects personal limit?

If you have a personal Amex acct and open another Amex account (personal or business), will that affect the time that you have to wait to get a CLI on your personal Amex?

For starting limit and CLI, does Amex consider the total amt that they've given you for both personal and biz or do they consider peronal and biz separate?

No, it will not affect the time you have to wait for a CLI on your personal card. Just keep in mind that you can only request an increase on one revolver every six months (assuming approval). This does not matter whether it is a personal or business revolver,  to AMEX they consider all your cards under one account and they only allow one request at a time
