No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
If this is old news, just humor me. lol. It is hard to keep up with all the changes with the various financial institutions.
Anyway, after not using my quicksilver one card due to it being stuck at a $1200 limit, i requested a CLI today. Usually, I am told thank you for applying and to check my inbox in 2 to 3 days for a response. That response has been no for the past year or so. Today, however, the response was slightly different. See below. I am assuming this is a denial, because it was not instant. But, this is definitely a new way of turning us folks down! lol.

One of our specialists will review your account to consider you for a larger credit line. You'll receive a communication with the results of our review in approximately 10 business days."

That is news to me.
I recently closed my QS1 because it was stuck at $1100 for almost a year. It was my first card in my rebuild when my credit file was blank so I am sure I was "bucketed".
I just got out right "Denied! You will receive a letter in 7-10 days..."
I don't know who they're fooling. We all know they barely have an underwriting department, let alone one staffed with a bunch of analysts.

LOL
It is probably a bunch of monkeys flipping over a deck of cards and when the Ace of Diamonds appears the CLI is approved!

I wouldn't doubt it. I'm eligible for a CLI in 2 days. If they give me that response, I'm gonna call in and demand to speak to said specialist.
Cap1 gave me the break I needed when I was starting to rebuild my credit. I am grateful to Cap1 but I outgrew what they had to offer. Perhaps one day in the future, Cap1 will offer me the CL that I desire with the rewards that work for me and I will start using their product again.
I recently got the 2-3 day message when I requested a CLI. My $2750 limit card was denied because my scores are too low but my $500 limit card was denied because of high usage of the card. I have not received any CLI in over a year. I have had cap 1 for 6 years. My scores are low due to financial issues, so balances are to blame. Hopefully when I pay the cards off they will give a decent CLI.
Did my request today. For the 2-3 day message.
Cap One treats me great.
I wish more felt that way.
I just got 2 CLIs on 2 attempts.
GL!
