I have been applying for a Discover CLI every 3-4 weeks for the past few months. Each time, I have gotten denied, with the reason "not enough experience at the current credit line." I used to get CLIs every 6 weeks like clockwork. I am starting to feel like I may have hit my internal limit with them, which is fine! My philosophy is that it doesn't hurt to ask anyway.
I logged in today to view my statement and saw a new item on my screen, which said: "Thanks for your loyalty! Now is the time to ask about increasing your spending power." There was also a link which said "take a look."
Thinking that this may be some new type of targeted offer that Discover is implementing, I hit the button and requested a CLI... and was denied again.
Oh well! Just thought it was mildly interesting that this was a new addition to the home screen.
The link and "thank you" message was gone when I went back to my main screen, by the way.
It's not you, not an internal limit, it's just a tad bit broken at the moment since they fixed the secured CLI issue 3/29.
Give them some time and they'll start warming up again.

Is that what it is? I didn't get my usual 3 month increase either this time around, thought it was strange.
Yup.... they broke something when they fixed something. Multiple reports of it. The new normal for the time being. There's several people that had cycles that have been disrupted. I was on an every other month cycle since August where I was able to collect $22K+ in CLI's and then they "fixed" something 3/29 and my next request was 4/1 and BAM! The door slammed shut and got the 3-5 day BS.

Fell for this message twice in one week with both being denials. Paper in the mail said Not enough experience with current limit.
Most of us over 20k are having issues getting our 91 day increases. Either its broke or the new norm.
