@youngandcreditwrthy The utilization based on the balances reported for me each month is around 2% . All of my FICO scores are over 800. I was on Experians website the other day usually I see maybe 2 or 3 cards that say matched for you. This time there wasn't a card tharptvdid no say matched for you. I yawned and logged off. I have 3 inquires 2 on Experian and 1 on Equifax. One of the inquiries on Experian will fall off in June.

That's incredibly silly. I have 17 hard pulls in the past year and 14 new accounts in the past year and I was just approved for a second Discover card and a Verizon Visa card.

Well, those cards you mentioned are quite different considering the banks that issue them. The OP is eyeing the Sapphire Preferred which is a Chase premium card, not a Synchrony card. And the Chase pre-approval tool gives him nothing. Probably not going to happen for a while.
