these jerks (lol). I have 4 Chase cards, roughly $50k credit over the 4 and a $456 balance (now $0 after this am). 719 EQ on 7/16 when I did the app.
I applied and got a "letter in the mail" response, I called the BD number this morning and the girl said "we think you have enough credit" I said "no such thing
, Ive put over $100k on these 4 (3 of them actually) over the last 12 months and have a $456.00 balance and your gonna deny me?" she said "we appreciate the business, but your are good" lol
So Im gonna leave Chase to twist for 6 months and load up Citi and AMEX until 2016.
Thoughts? I called the backdoor number 888-245-0625, really thought they would give me something... and I was loving on Chase for a long, long time.
As the Rolling Stones say, "You can't always get what you want."
It's not Chase's fault, they just think you capped out with them, 50k isn't bad.
You have 50k with Chase, what is your total CL with others?
Good luck with Citi you will end up in the same place as you are with Chase.
PenFed is $21, Citi is $26, AMEX is $46, Cap 1 is $19.
and less than 1% UTI across all cards....acutally as of this morning, less than 0.5% (0.44%)

Umm, that's 162K combined, unless your income is deeeep into the six figures, you might have capped out.
It isn't about utilization, it is more about available credit in their risk assements in UR.
idk, how do you know if you "cap out"?
so I should narrow it down to 3-4 cards and increase limits to $30-40k each?
How am I gonna get all the cool credit card icons on my signature? lol

It looks like Chase told you their opinion.
Good luck!

There's no "set" amount you cap out at...it's whenever the bank feels you have enough credit for your income/credit file. Some banks are more conservative than others.
If you still want your cards, you should keep them! Have you tried asking Chase (backdoor number) to take some credit from your existing cards and put it towards a CSP? They -may- do that.

A drag. Sorry to hear that. Chase seems to have a no more than 4 new accounts, in the last two years rule. From what I hear
