called spoke to a rep told him my info..placed me on hold came back and transf me to another lady who had to verify they had the correct social secuity number???? huh?? so I tell her she put me on hold only to tell me they could not offer me a line of credit? and i would get a letter in the mail!

When I applied in May I had to call in to complete the application by phone. At the end of the process I was approved for a $2,500 SL with a choice between the store card or the Visa. I chose the Visa card and I've only used it for two online transactions since approval. The SL was small but okay with me since it came at the end of a 7-card app spree.
Then three weeks ago I sent them a secure message requesting a CLI because a Triple Points event was coming up in mid-September and I told them I wanted to make a relatively large purchase but I was concerned about pushing my utilization above 30%. They responded two days later by raising my credit limit to $3,500 even though it hasn't been six months since I had the card and I never made it to the Triple Points event.
