Hello All
As the title states, I have not recived a single CLI in over two years with my Amex ED. Overall I started at a total CL of 500 to my name and scores in the low 500's. I am now over 700 on all bureas and have over 140000 in credit lines. Amex was one of my first cards and started at 1000 cl and has not moved at all since May 2015. I dont know what I have done to scare them but I think it may be time to say goodbye sadly. My next lowest card limit is 7700.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Look in your AMEX offers and see if there is a card that will work for you. I believe you were bucketed when you first got approved with such low scores. If you find a card that works for you, then you could close the ED.....good luck!!
What did they say in the letters sent when you asked for CLIs on your card? Because it might be one of those rare cases that the credit profile you applied with whe you got the card is stuck on that profile if the rest of your portfolio is looking good. Pretty sure that if you were to apply for another revolver card with AMEX you'd get a good SL.

They state monthly payment too low although its always paid off. I have my cable and sirus bill that go on there every month so thats about 23% of the limit. Then i pay it off. I tried to bump it the last few months to 700$ usage but its exhausting paying multiple times a month to overcome my OCD of missing a payment.
My offers just seem like a normal apply situation. I dont see any special offers that seem like they are directed at me personally.

as a rebuilder myself, is the ED easier to get than a BCE. i would like to have a BCE, but i know i'm not close enough to get one just yet.
As far as it goes for your situation, if the card doesnt really serve a purpose for you, then maybe its time to go. They will cut us off if we dont serve the purpose they want, why shouldnt we have the same power.

Yeah, assuming you wanna stick with AMEX with better terms you'll probably have to apply for another card. Like doinit1 suggested you could check the prequals to see what you can get more or less, but more than likely it'll tell you to log in to your account if you do even if you go incognito browser mode. In your offers portion of your account just to clarify you don't see any card offers at all to give you an indication on where you stand?

I would think the ED is easier but I dont have the other one either.
Believe the underwriting for both the ED and BCE is pretty much the same.
