Hello guys!
At this point in time I have a 648 (credit karma score)
I have a Wells Fargo Credita card for $1000 and a Cap one with $5000
I also have 2 credit cards that were charged off 5yrs ago that were not reporting or updatin since 2011, but miraculosly started reporting the charge off again last year just to damage my score, I am told, since they noticed activity on my report.
Even with those 2 cards reporting a CO every month I was still able to get the CAP one quicksilver card with a 640+ Score.
Unfortunately my score has not come up at all due to those charge offs.
So, with that being my current state, which credit card should I apply next in order to have success at this point?
I don't have but a couple of inquiries form last year on my reports.
If you need more information, please let me know.!!
Thanks for the input!
Sounds like they started to report the CO items after your new credit lines.
I'm surprised your score did not go lower.
This happen to me with Experian when an Item updated to Charge Off to included in BK..23 points!!
Try Capital One pre-qualify site again to see if you can get another card.
Remember Credit Karma are not true Fico scores..
My Credit Karma score is 700 For TU ...Fico is 663
For Equifax it's 676 ...Fico is 653
Hope this helps
Hi, I have not tried pay for delete since 2011 when I tried to settle with them and they would not budge on what they wanted, which was more than I could pay.
If I contact them now, I might give them reason to try to sue me, so I doubt it will be a good idea to do that until at least the Statute of Limitations runs out, then I will for sure call and offer some money.
In the meantime I have to play around with my score as it is unfortunately.
Cap one gave me the quicksilver even with all of these showing, but not sure any other credito will.
I got the Chase Freedom with two recent (2 years) charge offs, 7 medical collections, electric bill charge off, small insurance bill collection. 1 auto charge off, another paid voluntary repo. You never know who will approve you. BTW- my reports look nothing like this now. But it did when I applied for Freedom and Cap 1.
HI, thanks for the suggestion!!!
I settled 2 cards with chase in 2011. I doubt they will take me back.
Out of curiosity, did you try their pre approval website to see if they would give you a card before you applied? I did, and they sure have nothing for me as for pre approvals. ![]()

Probably a Barclays Apple card or a Barclays Rewards card

thanks for the suggestions
I have so far:
1) Apply for another Cap One Card (website says I can qualify for a Platinum no fee but 24.99APR) I guess since they gave me an APR it is for sure approval?
2) Barclays pre approval website told me "Based on the information provided, you mi might be interested in these products" and displayed Arrival PLus and Ring cards. NO APR. So I am assuming it means nothing more than just apply and we'll deny you (more than likely)
3) Chase would not have any offers for me at all.
Any suggestions on other cards that might take me in my situation?
I don't want to waste the hard inquiries on cards who more likely won't give me credit.
As for another cap one, wouldn't it make it harder to get CLI when you have 2 cards?
Thanks
Based on what I see your best bet would be to garden and age the cards you have and the updated baddie for 8 months
This would increase your scores and payment history
Can you get approved for some cards? Probably
However rest assured it will be the highest APR and a low limit
Sorry but felt you needed to know
