My wife had one with me as an authorized user which was included in a BK 4 years ago. Discharged in 9 months. I do have a Discover, Barclays, Cabelas and a few others. All paid, utilization always under 2%. TU is 648, EX 680, EQ 712. Hate to add a HP, but figure perhaps now to let it age. Thoughts? Thanks.
If you were included in the BK you must wait 5 years before Amex will consider letting you back in.. If it wasn't your card and just an AU, I wouldn't be to worried about that aspect of it from what I have read, the BK is what will stop you from getting an Amex at this point. Gotta be 5 years out of BK from my understanding for them to consider
Did you app yet?

I did a quick search on the Internet via Google. Every thing I read said a minimum of 5 years and it could be more if Amex was included in a BK. Don't fret. While you are waiting to be in Amex's good graces again, take this time to build a solid credit profile. When it's time for you to pull the trigger, you will have an excellent profile. Stay positive. Stay focused. Best of luck!!!
