I just checked your register date and saw you registered this summer. So you weren't around last year when the Langley meltdown happened. So I will give you a summarized version lol.
Someone joined Langley and got some good approvals. Well once they shared with the forum, you know what happened next. Myfico stampede. Lmao! Well someone inadvertently mentioned they learned about Langley from Myfico when asked how they found the CU. Then all HELL BROKE LOOSE! They started stalking the forum trying to figure out what was going on. Came to the conclusion somehow that we were all a bunch of scammers out to rip off their CU. They started closing memberships and credit cards of everyone that joined! It was terrible!!. When someone called to see what in the world was going on, the lady said and I quote, "We know all about you Myfico people"! 😂😂
Sooooo yeah like I said, if you join, don't mention Myfico!
I have an update to UFCU, apparently what I thought was an instant approval was still subject to review. I recieved a call from their online accounts demanding that I go into a branch. They would not take a scan of drivers license or passport... I tried to convince them otherwise but no dice. Person from call center said that ALL out of state accounts are now required to go into branch.... At least it was only SP -_-

Burned them with Charge Off during financial difficulties in '11 for $1500 (on $2k limit). Settled Charge Off in June of '15, approved for Classic Visa two weeks later at $1500, auto CLI to $2500 June of '16. Approved for Amex Rewards Plus at $5k in November '15, CLI to $14k in September of '16. Approved for Visa Rewards Sig in May '16 for $5k. May try for CLI in December '16. Currently at $21.5k in credit, also have a used auto loan, auto insurance, and valuable property insurance with them. WILL NEVER LEAVE THIS BANK.
They are SUPER FAST at available funds from Mobile Deposit. I think I'm good for up to $10k instantly available.
Wow and I'm impressed with TD Bank's making deposits of up to 5k available overnight.
Are there any other bank's or CU's with quick check clearing times (instant/overnight) that are readily able to be joined?
That is the only thing holding me back from using NFCU as my full time bank, deposit my check Friday, not clear until Tuesday or Wednesday. With TD in on Friday, avaibale Saturday.
Can't do DD, I work for myself and collect checks from many places.

Alliant is mobile and ATM instant availability. Mobile deposit $50k max.
Wouldn't it be sweet to have this as a problem.

NASA - was EX sp. Now I hear it's hp
DCU - EQ sp
SDFCU - EX hp now
Don't know about other 2
ETA: Be careful with Langley! Don't mention Myfico to them! 😂😂😂
When did DCU change to SP? I joined two years ago. I messed up my online app and ended up with two EQ HPs. They are supposed to be good about pre-approved CC and auto loans being no HP. ETA: I only joined DCU (savings and checking), I have not app'd for any credit products.
IIRC, I read UN FCU was a HP to join. It has been a couple of years since I read that. I may be misremembering or they may have changed. I am not a member of UNFCU.
I joined NASA a couple of months ago (savings only). It was just a EX SP for me. I have heard app'g for a CC at the same time you join now is a HP. But, I haven't kept up with Nasa news, though. It likely is a HP now if Baller says so.
Good to know DCU is now a SP. Joining DCU and NASA is a great way to monitor two of three mortgage scores. DCU wasn't a good choice earlier unless someone was over a year out looking for a mortgage.
