How long have you had your card? I have had mine 10 months. When did you get your auto CLIs?

Awesome thread. Should start updating with CLI, how long active, and balance. I think that could be helpful.

I agree instant is aleays a SP and 3-5 message is always a hard also 3 to 4 month for cli seems to be accurate as for me 

my cash reards went from 5k to 20 k in 8 months and my flagship went from 5k to 22k in  also 8 months i always ask for 25k but always couter with 20 or 22 k.

I called in and sent a secure message and both told me it would be a hard pull for a CLI. Does that mean I am not eligible for a CLI with a soft pull? I thought I read that most reps will tell you it will be a hard pull no matter what but that it isn't always true. Should I tempt fate and try it? I am at 3.5k and I just want to get to 5k total.

I've had my Cash Rewards, recently upgraded to Visa Signature for 8 months.  I went from $500 to $8,000 all HP's on EQ.   All CLI were requested online.

For me:

Opened cash Rewards - 12/2012 - 3k limit - 598 EQ

3/2012 - asked for cli - declined (asked for a lot)

4/2012 - asked for 1k cli - granted with HP - 4k limit

Week of 4/25 - asked for $500 - granted via SP

I did 3 more $500 requests - all granted instantly - 6k limit now.

I did one final request - asked for 17k - instant counter for 10k.

Do it online and ask for $25k, bet you will end up with WAY more than $5k!

No B.S., I've had my card for about a couple of weeks. It's at home with the wife while i'm here in Afghanistan(i have the cc number if i ever want to use it though) started off with $1000 limit, and a couple of days ago, decided to tap the luv button because of everyone posting on here about the outrageous limits they were getting. nothing instantly. took 2 HP's but got up to $10k in 3 days. I'm going to use the mess out of it this summer, PIF and then at the beginning of the new year, when my scores are up and history is established, go for $15-20K. And again, in my case, being active duty, the only thing I had to provide for the increase to $10K was my past 2 LES's.

I filled out the form and hit submit. It popped back saying I could go up to 5000 instantly or submit for further review. I chose the 5000 instantly. Does that mean it was a soft pull?
