After 3 month that I have my Navy Platinum I decided to get out the garden and press the CLI button 3 times in less than 24 hrs and my credit limit went from 1k to 10k. I'm going back to the garden as I don't want a HP but I'm tempting to hit it again. I gotta love NAVY FCU

Put in $25K and you will probably get a counter offer with the max that they will give you. At least that's what I did...was at $7500, did one to increase to $10k and then I said forget it, put in $25K and it countered to $22K. That was the max for me without an HP.
But I did it two times this morning and I'm afraid on the HP.
I got a error message saying " a error condition exist and want me to call customer service for assistant. I think I had enough for today. I'll wait till next billing cycle but I'm happy with my new credit limit which will help my credit report.
I started with a $5k limit for about 6 months. About a month ago I hit the luv button asking $500. Instant approval, read on here to keep doing it since it is a SP. So I did it up to $10k and stopped. Today I felt like putting in $25k and seeing if they counter. Figured I just had 2 HP's from new cards so what's another HP at this point. Got a offer of $12.5k instant or I can go under further review for more. Just took the $12.5k for now.
Anyone else take the amount they offered then ask for more 6 months down the road?
Well I decided to pull the CL button for the last time and I got the 3-5 days message so a HP it is. I should just stay with 10k. Hopefully they come with a counter offer. Should I call them or just wait and see what happens.
Update: well Navy did a HP but I got another 5k increase making a total credit line $15,000. Not bad from having a 1k limit couple days ago. I'm going back to the garden I'm surprised I never received the counter offer.
I have had 2 cards with NFCU since February 2013.
CashRewards $10k
Flagship Signature $10k
Today I requested CLI of $25k on both cards via online system.
I got counter offer on each card at $22k
Thats a total CLI of $24k today with only SP
I could not be happier!!!
