A little context...
I applied for the flagship rewards and when i spoke to member services she mentioned that it had an annual fee, and that they had other cards without the fee.
Her recommendation was to change cards after approval, but i don't want to miss out on a premium cars just because of a 49 dollar annual fee

Flagship if you can cash in rewards towards travel purchases on card otherwise if trading cash they hold same value as cash card with no AF.

You should ask for $25k and get counter

I'm at $10K now. Have put about $3k on it in the last month(got it end of april), with the last two statement cuts posting $495 & $700. When would be the ideal time to ask for a cli? Also, is it guaranteed that when you ask for $25K, they always come back with a counter?

If your account is eligible for a SP CLI then it will always counter.
