Re: Can we have "OFFICIAL NFCU CLI - HOW IT WORKS!"

Tell them while you are on the phone that you would like the Loc to be $15k instead of $5k!!

Re: Can we have "OFFICIAL NFCU CLI - HOW IT WORKS!"

Telephone rep verified address and phone number, said I should have an answer on the NavCheck within 24 hours.  When I checked online, the NavCheck app status says "Conditionally Approved" -  I have no idea what the conditions are.  Rep said 3-5 days on the credit card, apparently its being manuall reviewed by a loan officer.  Online says pretty much the same thing "Review in Progress"   The waiting is torture, but I guess I'll survive Smiley Happy

@creditaddict....Dang it!  Wish I would have saw your message before I got off the phone.  Oh well, $5K will just have to do if its approved.

Re: Can we have "OFFICIAL NFCU CLI - HOW IT WORKS!"

Well..  After reading through this thread more than a few times Smiley LOL  I decided asking for a CLI on at least the joint CC might be a thought, mentioned it to DM so we went online and went through both sets of questions (1 screen for each of us), got to the submit screen that listed what we'd entered, hit submit......  and "Approved credit line: $25,000   Your account will now reflect the new credit line and will be available for immediate use"

Instant, no waiting so guessing that was a SP.

Tried my individual acct and countered at 12k so took it.  Same scenario.

We opened these accounts in late 2011 at 16k and 3k,  had 1 auto CLI each acct early this year to 18k and 4k.  Never requested any CLIs with them or NavCheck so far.  Giving that some thought for just DM's checking.  I think her score is at about 700-705 (have to check before Nav if she decides she wants it) and mine is 693.  Both thick, spotless files.

Re: Can we have "OFFICIAL NFCU CLI - HOW IT WORKS!"

**Update**

So I checked my NFCU member account online this morning and saw that my gorewards CC was approved for $5K.  That's my highest limit yet so I'm satisfied with that for now.  Also got approved yesterday on the $5K NavCheck.  They did an EQ HP, but I did not have to provide any paystubs, etc.  Just needed to verify address and telephone number.  I wonder how they determine what credit line to start you off with.  My FICO EQ was 640 as of yesterday and my salary is $70K.

Re: Can we have "OFFICIAL NFCU CLI - HOW IT WORKS!"

So...dilemma.

I JUST applied and was approved for 6k CL on Slate yesterday, Have a NFCU cashrewards that was automatically increased from 10k to 11.5k YESTERDAY without me asking. These are my only 2 cards

So I come accross this thread and how can I possibly resist going for it?

Attempt 25k: I get the 2nd confirmation page.

Attempt 20k: I get the 2nd confirmation page.

Attempt 15k: I get the 2nd confirmation page.

Ugh...do I take the hard inquiry now (1 day after applying and being approved at chase) to get my 25k, or wait it out a bit? I hate to get another inquiry on my credit file (currently have 3 including what I'm sure will be the chase inq), but maybe it's worth it?

I have never requested a CLI on NFCU btw...just auto inc from 2k to 11.5k in almost 3 years.
