What is your limit on your first card?
Have you asked for CLI on that card and how long have you had it?

My cashRewards card is $7500 and just about a month old. I didn't do a CLI yet.

Congratulations on your new CC, I'd strongly advised you to wait for 90 days and press the luv button for a SP...from past experience I tried that when I opened my cc and they went ahead and pulled my CR again and they still denied me which they end up erasing the inquiry because it was there mistake when I asked them not to pull it.

I think you would be looking at a HP for either account but if I was going to ask for a CLI on either it would be the older one... and we have seen lots of success much sooner, but I'm on the 3 month train that "Most" are having full success at.

So, I shouldn't call on the approved app and ask for them to recon and just be patient and wait until August for CLI on the cashRewards?

it will be another HP most likely... I would wait.
Just wait for 90 days.
So I bit the bullet and hit the CLI button. I ended up getting the 3-5 day message. I got approved on 3/27 for $7k, and have put about 8k through it, leaving 10% or less utilization. I made my 3rd payment 2 days ago actually. Anyway, I asked for 25k, as suggested by many others, so I'm not sure what's gonna happen. Do i just wait until tomorrow and see what the deal is?
Also, I went back in and asked for the Overdraft Line of Credit for the full $15k. Yikes, now I'm nervous about these apps!
