The 1 collection from TU is due on 4/2017 but the 120+ days student loan is not out till 2020 probably... since that's 2013. Those are the only 2 negatives. But  then I have 42 Inquiries Smiley Very Happy 3 of which from Navy Federal. Mostly are all done from June - August so by December - April I should be okay....

Re: Official NFCU CLI Guide

If your DOFD collection date on TU is 4/17 then you simply call TU tomorrow and ask for EE on it. Then see how much your TU score rises in 24-48 hours once it's off and then you can roll the NFCU dice on applying for a credit card.

42 inquiries on one bureau and 98 on three? Time to send you off to The Betty Ford inquiry clinic! Smiley Very Happy

42 on TU, 38 on EX and the rest on EQ = 98  lol I got APP happy...

I dont know how to find out the DOFD on TU? I think I called and was told that its due to fall out on 4/17. I was also told you can only get EE 6 months early so that will put me in for November request?

Experian deleted this CO and my points only went up by 9. ....

I see public schools (especially the math department) has failed us all once again. Smiley Sad

October 1 to April 1 = 6 months

If the DOFD is indeed April then you can EE it off tomorrow.

WoW! I'm actually really good in math believe it or not -

But I really thought of September and then when I counted it - I included the month the month that it was really due... anyhow, good point. I guess I'll try tomorrow.

BTW - my CLOC currently has a $1200 balance I prepaid my AMEX and part of my Direct Deposit wont be hitting NFCU till this Friday - will that be a deal breaker on trying for their card again.

Re: Official NFCU CLI Guide

If this was me I wouldn't apply for an NFCU CC until...

1. The collection is off your TU report
2. Have your NFCU PLOC at a $0 balance before you apply for their credit card.

You can use another CC/cash advance or whatever but to maximize yourself to NFCU (especially with a 120+ late payment that's on until 2020) have the CLOC at $0.

Two cents.
