you will get there...I'm sure of it.
Thanks. I do a lot of research on this site and see what others are doing, both good and bad, and try to model my behavior with my accounts after them. I've learned quite a bit from these boards and yet I still have so much to learn. However, I find it rather enjoyable to find nice things here and there like CCs given w/ SPs, CLIs w/ SPs, ways to maximize chances of qualifying for a particular CC, best method to maximize FICO scores, etc. i even take note of certain lenders or situations to try to avoid due to a high risk of failure or calamity. But, most importantly, I'm taking my credit seriously and I'm always trying to find the best way to make it work for me, and not the other way around. So cheers everyone, cheers all around!
So, I got my 1st card 7/26 ($5k) with NFCU, got my SM recon increase 7/28 ($20k). I got My 2nd NFCU card on 9/9 ($5k).
So, to maximize my CLI potential with the minimal HP risk, should I wait the 90 days from 7/26, then app for the CLI up to $25k and then wait until the 2nd card has been opened 90 days and app for the CLI up to $25k?

I would just wait 90 days from your 2nd $5k card and request CLI on that one... if you were to get more than $20k out of your request, then you would know you could get the same on the first card but if they don't go above $20k I would not ask on the first one at all.

Makes sense. So, what if I app for the CLI on the 2nd and they match and give me $20k. Could I potentially transfer $10k to the 1st card and then wait a few months and ask for a CLI on the 2nd card again and hope they match or at least bump up to $25k?
I just wanted to share. Today my 3rd statement cut and I requested CLI. for $12,000 since my 1st card is $12,500. and BAM approved. Tomorrow or Monday is my 6 month mark with my 1st NFCU CC so I am going to wait and see if they do an auto increase. I also recieved my $250 for the auto refinance at the 61 day mark. I messed up in the past and I am ever so grateful to NFCU. And thanks for this board or I wouldnt have known about them since there arent any physical banks here . Come to find out my older brother has been a member for decades and has used them for everything.
lol I did ask for the $25,000 on Aug. 4 and got declined. I don't remember the exact reasons. There were 2. I am wondering if I fax or send them my taxes that they will recon. I have DD but I also have another income source that goes into a local bank.
Pushed the LUV button and got a CLI increase from $22K to $27K. No additional documentation required. Will see in a few days if it was a SP or HP.

anything over $25 is hp and id go back and ask for more since it's manual review over $25k
