@Anonymous wrote:Amex sent a 50K PRG offer with $1000 in 3 months spend.. tempting...
Only cards I have right now are the WF secured at $500 and Chase Freedom with $1200, Freedom is 5.5 Months old, and WF at 7.5 months
Tempting.... what do you guys think? Should I bite?
Did this offer come in the mail? If so, what language does it use? Pre qualified? Pre approved? Pre screened?

Try the offer from creditcards dot com. Don't have to enter your ssn, just name and address. You may have this offer.
Good luck!

The offers from Card Match aren't real offers. They're advertising from affiliate card companies. No better than the cards promoted at Credit Karma.

I had a similar offer.
Did they include free AF first year? If so, even more worth it!

Doesn't mean anything. Among others, Card Match says I'm qualified for the Chase Freedom. Chase denied me. If those offers were real, they would display a single interest rate, not a range of rates. The offers that appear are simply a guess based on the credit profile, and the site gets paid affiliate money by the card issuers to display them as options.

You're right.
It's only meaningful for those who use the toll and receive (1) the offer, and (2) get approved. You should just keep waiting for Amex to send you an offer in the mail.

Which, if you're already an Amex cardholder, you will never get it in the mail.
I still got the 50k PRG promo bonus via a link on this site. Took a screenshot on each page and the CSR's I've all talked to said I have it, despite the fact I am already a prior cardmember. I'm still holding out on whether they honor it when I meet the spend. We'll see.

Or I could do the smart thing and, instead of using a site that gets paid to display their affiliate's cards, go directly to Amex's site and check for real offers.

The amount of cardmembers using that link successfully for the 50k and 100k bonuses over the years have been too many to count. I'm sure you'll get yours too.
But, waiting until the pre-approved 50K Amex offer guaranteeing approval is a plan too. At least, with this plan, you'll know exactly what to hope for and looking forward to in the mail every afternoon!
