Ok, into the garden I go!! No, really!!

I dont know what tempted me to apply for the Barlcay Arrival +, but I received the "We'll let you know" message ... Smiley Sad  So I decide to call the backdoor today, and spoke with a really nice gentlemen, who sounded like he was on the fence to approve me, but opted not to due to all the inq and recent approvals, said it looked like I was handling everything fine, but wanted to see more history...   at that point I decided it was best to let the apping cooldown for a while... Smiley Sad

Probably a good move. Barclays was the first card I apped for when my house closed. Scores in the 640s. Denial. I called the backdoor number and the gentleman that answered pretty much made me feel like an idiot for applying because I was only 1 year out of my most recent late pays. I understood but thought it was a bad way to start my app spree. But then I was approved for DiscoverIT, AMEX Ed and BCP both at 0% for 18 months, NFCU Visa Signature, NFCU Cash Rewards, offered the Best Buy VISA (not the store card), and TJX offered me the MC at a very low SL but it is my first card with Synchrony. CapitalOne denied me even though I have a 10 years history with them and so did Barclays. Go figure. I probably won't app with them again. I really don't need to. Just need to grow my current limits. Sounds like we are in the same boat lol.

Sorry about the denial.  Waiting and showing more history will do you a world of good in the credit world.  Hang in there..
