Open Closed within 30 days Counts for 5/24?

Asking for a friend,

Opened a new credit card used it for 2 weeks and closed it. It reported to all 3 bureaus as opened, next month as closed. Will this count for 5/24 with chase?

It certainly will count unfortunately. Once an account is open, it's open. There's no probationary/"tryout" period for new accounts sadly lol.
