Re: Opt in works. I'm on the Radar of Credit One.

I am so sad, neither Credit One nor First Premier send me prequals.  I even went to their website and tried the prequal there and was told that I did not qualify for a card with them.  It would have fit so nicely sitting right next to my Amex BCP, or my PNC Signature Visa, or my SM World Card, or my ....   oh you get the picture.  Smiley LOL

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.....
Always follow these rules: Only take a HP for a new account. Always use the best rewards card for that reward category. Don't close a card unless you know you really should. Never use more than 35% of a credit limit. Recon as much and as best you can. Use the introductory period to the best advantage. Get the signup bonus. Whenever possible PIF or balance transfer so you pay less in interest. Never give an excellent rating when it is actually the norm. Always look for a discount as more is always better.
Always accept candy from strangers because they have the best candy or from people you know have good candy.

I use credit now not cash. Using prequals instead of bills to light my cohiba.

And and in bills I mean Monopoly money but that's not the point.

Y'all laugh, but man, one crappy prequal means a lot to me. Way nice change from auto insurance quotes!

I got a pre-qual today from Capital One GM BuyPower..... I figured, what the heck? I was approved, with a whopping $300 credit limit! Ha! But hey, it's a start and the card is pretty Smiley Wink On the upside, I got my WalMart from $700 to $2,000 and my Amazon from $1,900 to $3,500 today through the love of the chat! It's Credit Friggin One. PreQualifed. Act now. $0 enrollment, up to $1500 SL. 1% Gas rewards. Don't delay…

Gonna find a stogie and play some music while I celebrate my first prequal receive and then tear it up. Truly happy I got a prequal snail mail though. I'm moving forward.

Also NFCU snail mailed my CS from my new CC, 607 Equifax. Moving up! -my auto refresh is in Sept.

Since Labor Day Weekend is coming up, why not use it for the grill rather than charcoal.  Smiley Tongue

Beat me to it. I bet quite a few bird nests can be made from predator prequals just the last 2 years alone.

Use the nice card, treat yourself to a zippo for the occasion
