Hello, long time reader and first post. Been on a rebuild for some years, and finally have things where I am ready to app for some better CC. I am interested in the Discover IT cashback, Amex products, NFCU product, and any other suggestions. What order should I app, when, and any other advice? Thanks for all the advice in advance this board has been a lifesaver!

*UPDATE* Discover It approved $6,000 SL*
How long should I wait to app NFCU? I joined and took the HP hit, and deposited $1,000 into savings.
Probably discover first. The other two don't really matter.

Hi @DontHateEm , Welcome to the forums.
I would app Discover first, they will probably really like your profile.
Cash back match the first year is great!
Amex and NFCU spin the wheel ..
Good Luck on whatever you decide![]()
Thank you! I was thinking of doing prequals, and apping Discover and Amex at the same time. Should I do it like that or wait awhile after Discover?
Try Amex & NFCU. They both have prequal sections.
If Navy approves you with a small limit, that is PERFECTLY fine. 91/3 should reward you with a higher limit.
Amex prequal is pretty solid. Hilton and Delta cards are easier than their top tier cards.
Navy does transunion; Amex Experian. Good luck...
