Overstock CLI - Soft Pull or Hard Pull

Is there a definitiveanswer on whehter or not Overstock CLIs are now HP vs SP? From everything I read on these forums it "used" to be SP, then they added a checkbox authorizing HP (which could be ignored). Now, the box is gone. 

I'm certainly not willing to risk an HP for a CLI but would like one to help get my utilization down.

We have always had a SP .Last one was 10/08/18 for a CLI

1. Did you request via phone or the website?
2. And if web, can you confirm the checkbox does not show for you either.
3. How frequently are you able to request?

1. I ask via the website

2. The checkbox no longer shows for me.

3. Every 31 days or so (this time of year may be a little more frequent since the holidays are coming up) on or about the 13th.

From what I've read, the presence or absence of the checkbox is profile dependent but I've also heard that it is disappearing more and more as Comenity is becoming more cautious in anticipation of an economic decline.

On mine, the check mark is gone, but when you click on CLI, it says in black and white that you authorize Comenity to do a credit report. So it could be a HP or a SP.  I always treat every requested CLI as it's gonna be a HP......I figure that way if I really want it, I am willing to take the hit.

Just confirming that we are talking about the store card - Comenity and not the Mastercard card - FNBO

Just got one a few hours ago for 2k, no check box no HP, requested on web from my account page

I have found that online CLI requests come with SP, as well as phone in requests. Only difference I have found so far is that if you are approved for online CLI and try to DD via phone, they will give a HP.

This all goes without saying, YMMV!

Just requested my 2nd CLI (only requested 2 so far) since opening early 2017. Approved with SP again, via website. No check box here either time I requested.
