so i recently got a secured message saying they pulled my credit and i was denied. i have 4 other cards which ive had plenty of CLI yet never a HP. all those cards ranging from 2 years ago to 6 months ago and NO HP! not even when i was approved by SCT. can i call them and fight it?
They HP'd me in April when I tried for a CLI through Robo Lady. They have never given me a CLI and with the HP they are now on my list of cards to get rid of!
definately fustrated cause i have 5 comenity cards and over 50 credit line increases combined for all of them. This is my first HP with them(comenity)
By any chance do you have a fraud alert on your files? Comenity has serious issues with FAs with no phone numbers.
I sucessfully reconned a Comenity HP ( HSN )

I don't have any fraud alerts. How did you recon the HP? Did you just call the customer service line on your HSN card?
I have an Overstock card with a $3000 limit. I hadn't used it for a couple of years (oops!). I tried to make a purchase with it a couple of weeks ago, and the card wouldn't go through. I called Overstock and they transferred me over to Finance. They said they needed to rerun the credit check before I could use the card. I asked if it would be a HP, and they said yes--so I said NO THANKS!
I originally got the card via SCT, and had used it a couple of times, but then kind of forgot about it. There's no way it is worth it to do a HP for a card that I initially got with a SP. I'm wondering what is going to happen, because they haven't yet closed the card--it's just not usable.
Should I just go ahead and cancel it, I wonder?

Yes. Better to close it than to have them close it for you.
I am VERY thankful I stopped with one of their cards before I completely fell in the SCT trap. Anyway I think with them you gotta assume you have a 50% chance of getting a HP. I have noticed HP are becoming more common with them.
