ok
Gave them a call today to ask about just getting secured card... she said it's a different application and has to be applied for.
I said okay, can you look at my application and confirm it was denied for INQ's
She pulled it up and said YUP:
You have 40 Inq's and 34 new accounts in last 12 months... Did you open that many accounts in last 12 months?
I said, YUP!
She said, okay, just wanted to make sure because usually I see people with a handful of INQ's (like 5) so that's more than I have ever seen.
You could apply for the secured card, but I'm not sure they would look over that many inq's and new accounts for the secured card either.
Great, thanks, have a great day.
End of call!

You and Ron1 should get an agent and negotiate a deal for a reality TV series. This is beyond epic of your quest.

Right friggin there is MY POINT that FNBO is still mired down in the dark ages with overly restrictive cc requirements.
Let's do some simple elementary Math right off the top ok?
34 APPROVED accounts out of a total of 40 returns a ratio of what, 85% success rate? Not less than 50 or even 75.
My own experience from over a year ago with them was so very familiar to what CA's U/W results came back with that it's like deja vu all over again.

and I also got commercial space, got internet, bought a car and looked at several different cars so those would be the other inq's!

It has to be more than EX folks. We'll never know the whole story but it's like BBVA with the whole identity thing. It's shrouded in mystery.
