Re: Overstock.com Shopping Cart Trick...not really :/

i got the preapproved Popup and it asked me full SSN. hence i thought and closed the popup.

some say here, even if we give full SSN, its going to be a SP.

is that true?

Now, if i try to do the cart trick, i dont get the preapproved popup. Smiley Mad

It is true that it is only a SP. I had the same thing happen - gave my full ss and it showed up as SP.

Also, I initially passed on Overstock but then realized they offer 6/12 month 0% financing that I wanted to use. I had to clear out my cache and history to get it to pop up again. Give that a try and see if it works.

Good luck!

Re: Overstock.com Shopping Cart Trick...not really :/

It took me numerous tries to get the pop up. It is the only SCT account that requires the full ss# but it is only an sp.

I never officially got the popup. However what I did receive was an email stating pre-approval and a link to fill out the generic info. It was full SSN and it was only a SP for me as well.  It did however just finally appear on my CB's after having the card a month and never using it.

I needed low balance so we could get out of my chase car loan for the DH and get him into a lease like me!

Yeah, it is a SP.  I was instantly approved for $2k, hit LUV button and approved for $200 more.

Re: Overstock.com Shopping Cart Trick...not really :/

Nixon do you remember how much you had in your cart to get the 2500?

I wonder if it's related to how much merchandise is in your cart.

Just tried this one, pop-up was almost instant. $2,500 initial and $2,700 on CLI button.

Re: Overstock.com Shopping Cart Trick...not really :/

I got the pop-up the other day. Approved for $4000. Hit the CLI button and got an extra $400. So $4400 total and only a SP.
Thinking about using it to buy a new couch soon. With 0% interest and 10% off for my first order.
