I just got a pre-approval letter of the PENFED Power Cash Rewards card with the access code. Just wondering whether they would do a soft or hard pull on my credit report if I proceed with the application. Any feedback will be much appreciated. Thank you!
If you decide to accept the offer, it will result in a HP. The invitation code is simply for marketing and tracking purposes. If your profile supports it and the card will be of benefit to you, then go for it.
I got that pre approval in October , I entered code and it said Offer not valid for me. So opened account checking and applied for gold and it was a hp.
Likewise for me. I used the mailer code and got the PCR. Opened savings and Access America checking. I got a HP on EQ9 for the card. No pull for the bank accounts.
