Even though WE know (anyone who's posted a few times on this board), a lot of newer folks or lurkers may not know. If you ask Average Joe on the street if he knows the 5/24 rule, you will get a blank stare. Yet, that same individual might be sorely disappointed when he gets denied for a Chase card.
Chase is a big and influential enough issuer, and the rule is so rigid, that it might be worth a sticky.
But, I'm just an ordinary member and that's my two cents on the matter
I appreciate that and this is well said.
I was denied for the amazon chase card for the 5/24 rule. Does this also apply to disney?
Thought I would bring this up AGAIN as people continue to app for Chase cards with zero chance of approval.

Wanted to post in an existing thread rather than start yet another thread on the rule I have a card that turns 24 months old this month which takes me to 4/24. My question is do I wait until next month to be safe, or is 24 months exactly ok? Thanks in advance

From anectodal evidence elsewhere, you can apply right after the account ages 24 months
