PayPal CB MC 0% invite, highest limit??

Hi! I keep getting emails from Paypal to apply for their Cashback MC with a 0% intro offer. What are some of the highest starting limits seen here?

I realize it’s profile based...but I’m only interested if they have the potential to start over $10k

You won’t get any more than $10K unless you call Credit Solutions and successfully ask for a higher limit. $10K is the highest they will approve online and is also the CLI limit for online requests.

I agreed with this completely until last night.  Had been holding off applying for the PP CB MC, but had the pre-selected e-mail sitting in my inbox and decided why not.  Instant approval for $12K (temp limit of $4K).  More when I actually get the card.

I think the $10k SL or CLI (luv button) maximum applies to the great majority of applicants, but I know of a couple of people here who started at $15k. One of which, if I'm not mistaken, is @longtimelurker. The other member had also started at $15k and got a luv button CLI to $25k.

This card is definitely more restrictive than Lowe's, for instance.

I was approved for $10K with a 740 TU Fico8, I haven’t been able to get a CLI on it since then. I’ve called Credit Solutions every time.

Also, what happened with RBFCU? Were you able to get a second card?

Starting limits do not matter with Synchrony.  Only thing that matters is your TU score, and sometimes, your EX score.  Credit Solutions is your friend if you dont get super greedy

I was denied a second card stating maximum unsecured limits (with RBFCU). After card decline I tried for the CLOC, sane denial. I have two auto loans they them ($123k left) so I might be at their max limit for now.

I actually applied this morning from the invitation and was approved for $10k.

Does anyone know if you’re able to request lower interest rates? Or if it’s hard to get a lower interest, I usually pay in full but just the fact that it’s my only card at a high 29.9% I want to lower it lol
