PayPal Credit / PayPal Extras

I guess I'm sort of out of the loop with this. I was in the approvals and someone got a CLI on their PayPal Credit. The lightbulb came on that there might be a difference in the two and Taxi let it be known that of course there's a difference.

So, I applied for the PayPal Credit, got an approval but apparently a rejection since I have the Extras (which is $5k anyway).

I will hold my head down in shame the rest of the night Smiley Sad LOL.

Re: PayPal Credit / PayPal Extras

All is not lost.  You now have a Paypal credit account that can be used at checkouts that support PayPal credit directly....but you cannot link it to your PayPal account as a form of payment since you already have a PayPal MC.

Re: PayPal Credit / PayPal Extras

That doesn't appear to be a rejection but rather an issue linking it to your account. I think I've read here that some just maintain more than one PayPal account, Anyway, I'm sure others who have both can chime in with an explanation as I don't want to relay wrong info. I've only applied for and received PayPal credit, which is awesome by the way Smiley Happy

More than enough credit.

That's a good idea if it happens.

I really wasn't sad about the SP for the app. The $5k Extras is much more CL than I really need now anyway.

Re: PayPal Credit / PayPal Extras

just create a 2nd paypal account and link this paypal credit to the new account.

I have 2 paypal accounts for that reason because I wanted the ebay mastercard but already had the paypal credit.

Yes, they will. I did that when I got approved for PayPal MC.

I guess I don't see an advantage of the PayPal Credit over the MC so will leave it alone.
