Re: PayPal application

It means what it says...they couldn't verify you. You didn't answer a verification question correctly and/or didn't follow their proper steps for verification.

Re: PayPal application

It has been my experience that, after receiving an unable to verify ID letter, I called the number on the letter and helped them verify me. Once verified, I was immediately approved. This happened more than once (not paypal though).

Re: PayPal application

Synchrony uses several of the secondary credit agencies in addition to the three main ones.  If there is anything in those secondary bureaus that is not the same as the primary it will usually flag you for verification.  You should get copies of your secondary bureaus and verify they have correct info.  LexisNexis, SageStream, Clarity, Innovus, Factor Trust, ARS, Chex, and others.
