PayPal credit application verification?

Has anyone ever received this message when applying?

We regret that we are unable to approve you for the service at this time for the following reasons:

Certain elements of the transaction varied significantly from typical customer purchase behaviors, suggesting that you did not initiate this application.

I called and the Rep I talked to said that I'll receive a call withing 48 hours to answer some verification questions and gave me a ticket number...Anyone else been through this and had positive results?

i have seen posters receive that message before. Your experience seems better than others in the past. it sounds like an idenity verification glitch of some sort. At least you got a reference number and a person saying they will get back to you in 48 hours. Sounds positive to me.

I have been denied paypal credit several times. Most times they pull EQ but they have also pulled TU and always decline me. Good luck and let us know the outcome.

Sorry I'm super late...but I was denied. I ended up calling them and they couldn't find my application...got a denial letter but I forgot what it said.
