I applied for PayPal credit and received this response. Does anybody know what this coupld possibly mean, as it makes no sense to me!

Did you notice the date they said OP tried to transact? "12/29/2016". Maybe they are in Asia.

I just now noticed that! I am actually in Tennessee and it's still the 28th. Could their systems be messed up?

This denial reason has been seen in the past as well on this forum for paypal credit.. Can't remember, but you can try to search for it anf find what the cause was, but definitely posted before and believe it was figured out what the message meant and possibly a remedy.

Something triggered the fraud algorithm. Do you use a VPN or proxy server to access the internet?

If you were on your home wifi your IP would be the same regardless of what device you're using. Had to be something else.

Sounds like the problem isnt with the ISP, but i think it had to do with your actual transaction. What were you buying? Ammo? Pipe Bongs? Hunting Knife? . Anything strange about your backup funding method?

I applied directly through the PayPal credit website, didn't have a shopping cart or anything.
