I had a $6,500 credit limit, and recently got a $1,500 auto increase a few weeks ago. I have a few 6 month special financing purchases on my account. Since my billing cycle is about to end, and the account is more than likely going to start reporting to the bureaus soon...I tried to get an increase online the other day, to improve my utilization, and was declined. I called Credit Solutions thinking I would have better luck, as I've had in the past with CLIs. I was told that my increase wasn't approved and to wait for a letter in the mail. Today, I got a letter that shows: We unfortunately are unable to approve for the following reason(s): Insufficient experience at your current credit line.
I'm used to seeing this message with Discover, but this is new for me with Synchrony!
