Just can't seem to stay in the garden. 
I called PenFed to request a CLI on my PCR, which is already my highest CL. It was denied.
But since I'd wasted a HP and gone through the process of getting them on the phone, and since PenFed almost always uses the same HP for multiple requests, I asked about a CLI on my Platinum. It went to review. Said I should get an email requesting more information.
They've always gone to review and requested more information for the second request for me. (And this seems to be a trend I've seen with other people.) I applied for the Platinum and was instantly approved. Applied for the PCR with the same pull and it went to review. Asked for a CLI before on the PCR and it was instantly approved. Asked for a CLI on the Platinum with the same pull and it went to review. They probably want POI. What I'm making now is more than what I was making when we did this dance before and they most likely want me to send copies of my last two pay stubs. (Speculating here, but that's what it was before.)
The denial on the website says "Utilization of accounts, number of accounts, and/or a derogatory event"
There are no derogatory events. This must just be a generic statement. The rest I can't argue with.
EQ8 780, TU8 748, EX8 771 as of January 7They sent an email saying they'd send another email when they reach a decision, or I could call this number. I called this morning and was told I will receive an email by end of business today.
They're trolling me now. I've received TWO emails from PenFed in the last couple hours. Neither one has anything to do with my CLI request. One was telling me my statement is ready. The other one explains how I can use the app to deposit checks.
