The pump could be coded differently. I'm not certain about that. Test it and see. For example, I use my AMEX Gold Card to shop at Kroger Grocery and get 4x back on grocery. My Kroger also has a seperate "Kroger gas station" in the same parking lot. Even though it says Kroger on the statment it does say something about a Kroger fuel center and I don't get the 4x at Kroger Fuel.
