No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
Penfed granted me a personal loan last month, pulled my credit on 3/27/17. Would they re pull credit if I apply for one of their cards again or use that same pull, anyone know?
Thanks!
EDIT
Just saw here http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Card-Applications/Pentagon-Federal-Credit-Union-Data-Share/td...
HP are good for 90 days, is that correct?
Usually good for 90 days although you can get another HP the next day after applying for a product.. Generally good for 90 days, although you certainly could get hit sooner.
Thanks for the info!
Best bet would be to call PenFed and ask about using the same HP just to be sure. You're more likely to get hit by another random pull if you do it online
There is no guarantee, I called over the weekend to ask about a CLI and using my current report (from Feb.) they said they would if they could but they always request permission to pull in case they need to. I didn't go through with it, going to call back and see if I get the same answer.
IME I joined late December 2016.
HP was good for 90 days. I got the Power Cash Rewards at 70+ days and NO pull.
The safest way it to freeze your EQ file while you request a CLI.. This way you ensure they can't pull your credit and if you don't get it no loss, if you do then you know it is a SP.. Nothing unethical about this, just being smart. This way just gurantees you don't get a HP, but possibly not get a CLI as well if they want a HP, but saves you one.

Interesting approach here lol, but makes sense!
I did apply and was approved for a mere $3k CL, thanks again!
